Remember Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen’s L.A. Chateau? Well it looks like the custom mansion has found its new owner, none other than Dr. Dre, who recently sold Beats Electronics to Apple for $3 billion and undoubtably has some extra cash lying around.
Supposedly Dr.Dre dropped $40 million of that cash on the 14,000-square-foot mansion, which was listed at $50 million roughly 6 months after it was featured in Architectural Digest. The 5 bedroom manse was designed by Richard Landry and includes a host of elaborate features including a reclaimed-cobblestone motor court, a double height wood-paneled library, a moat filled with koi and a rock-scaped pool with a waterfall and diving rock.
While the initial asking price included furniture, the talked down price did not. Not to worry, because Dr.Dre likely has his own preferences for furnishing the manse and certainly, the funds to customize in every way possible.
